Andy Sparnon
Outside of Rod Anchor, Andy spends his time supporting people with disabilities. finding the most satisfaction in making someone's day a little brighter. That same care and attention shows up in everything Rod Anchor does.
Andy has been fishing for over 40 years, introduced to the sport by his grandfather who had fishing in his blood. Growing up near the sea only cemented the love. Beach fishing has always been his pick of the bunch. "it's hard to get seasick on land, but that's another story."

Co-Founder & The Ideas Man
Craig Clark
Craig is the ideas man. He designed the first Rod Anchor prototype, drove the R&D and is already working on a handful of new fishing products that'll be landing on the site in the future.
It was Craig who first introduced Andy to the auger-style rod holder concept. and the moment Andy used it, they both knew they were onto something. The rest is history.

The Rod Anchor Origin Story.
Every great product starts with a problem. For Andy and Craig, it was the same problem every beach fisho has faced. rods going over in the sand. Traditional rod holders couldn't hold their ground, cracked in the sun, and never had anywhere to put your drink without running back to the car.
Craig introduced Andy to the auger-style concept, and from that moment Andy knew. "life was about to get a whole lot easier." The two sat down, developed the idea through real R&D, and a year later launched the original Gen I Rod Anchor.
It sold like hot cakes. They couldn't keep up. That was the real learning curve. and the moment they knew something even better was on the cards.

How We Got Here.
The Beginning
A Rod Goes Over in the Sand.
Andy loses a rod. Not for the last time. The same problem every beach fisho knows. Traditional holders just don't hold. Craig introduces Andy to the auger concept and the lightbulb moment happens.
R&D
Craig Builds the First Prototype.
Craig. the ideas man. designs and builds the first prototype. Andy and Craig sit down, stress test it, refine it, and start to realise they're onto something genuinely different.
Gen I Launch
It Sold Like Hot Cakes.
The original Rod Anchor launches. Demand outpaces supply almost immediately. 200 prototype testers put it through real-world conditions. beach, surf, bank. The verdict was unanimous.
Gen II. Now
Stronger. Lighter. Better.
Everything they learned from Gen I went into the GEN II. Lighter construction, stronger materials, and the full accessories pack. drink holder, LED torch and blade holder. The complete setup.
The Future
Global Distribution & More Products.
Craig is already working on new fishing products. The vision? Global distribution. As they say. "reach for the stars, and if you touch a planet, you're still on the right track."
